The fictional co-host of Count Floyd is a character in the television series - that is about the life in the day of a fictitious television station:

Second City TV (aka SCTV) in the town of Melonville.

To emulate small television stations of the time, in each episode, the cast took on a number of different characters.
In particular, one of the news anchors - Floyd Robertson (played by Joe Flaherty) also doubled as
Count Floyd, the host of SCTV's "Monster Chiller Horror Theatre".
During the series, The Count ventured into other shows, including "Scary Previews" with co-host Woody Tobias Jr. played by Eugene Levy.
The character Woody Tobias Jr. was often seen in episodes featuring "Monster Chiller Horror Theatre". Levy would play Tobias playing "Bruno" in various Dr. Tongue 3D movie clips.

Eugene Levy was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on 17 December 1946.

Levy had this to say about himself "One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I'm a comedian, which I'm not. A comedian is someone who can stand up in front of an audience and make you laugh. I've never done stand-up and I never will. I'm a comic actor. My comedy comes through my characters.".

Levy is an accomplished actor, writer and director.

I have been unable to locate the episode segment featuring Woody Tobias Jr. hosting "Scary Previews" in full.
I have located below part of the segment; but Woody is not seen.
