"Inner Sanctum" was an Australian horror anthology radio series, that used scripts from the USA "Inner Sanctum Mysteries" series. The show commenced in 1952, and ran for about 50 shows. It was hosted by Moray Powell as Raymond. Due to a dispute of fees, the show was discontinued. Moray Powell would return in 1958 as "Your Host" of a retitled version of "The Creaking Door"; using Australian writers. The show finished its run in 1959. No known copies of either show have been located. In 1964 "The Creaking Door" opened once more, this time in South Africa, with host Peter Bloomfield.
