Mitch Markowitz is a writer, producer and actor. He has written episodes for "M.A.S.H.", "Benson", "Best of the West" and "The Fact of Life". He was also the writer for the movie "Good Morning Vietnam".
The one show that he is best remembered for is "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein", which he was the associate producer; with his brother Riff Markowitz producing the series.
Markowitz also played two of the characters - "Super Hippy" and "The Mosuqito"
Super Hippy is a super hero of the hippy variety; who enjoys flying around, always with something to say.
The Mosquito is an insect that enjoys telling very poor jokes.
Markowitz was also a special guest actor on the horror hosted show "Kount Kracula's Review Showcase" in 2015; as well as appearing as a guest in two episodes of "Niagara's Most Haunted".
Markowitz has been working on a documentary about "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein".
Markowitz along with his spouse Robin Bralow, have turned part of their home into the "Markowitz Hollywood North Museum".

In 2015, Markowitz reprised his role as "Super Hippy" in a short anti-bullying promotion; where many of the characters from "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein" were represented.
Markowitz also works in his career involved the sale and marketing of residential and commercial real estate projects on both sides of the Canadian/USA border.
