"Shock Theater" - WVTV Channel 18, Milwaukee
The show was aired on Friday nights at 10:30 pm, from 16 January 1970 through 29 May 1970, as "Shock Theater". It used as a background the Glenn Strange Frankenstein's monster with a voice announcer - Bob Beringer. It screened some 20 movies.

Then in 1971 - WVTV used movies from the Shock! and Son of Shock! packages when it ran its "Shock Theater" on Saturday nights starting on 4 September 1971. The opening of each show used a sequence made up of clips from a variety of films, and also used the voice announcer Bob Beringer. It used as a background the Glenn Strange Frankenstein's monster photograph. The first show aired at 8:30 pm, and then was moved to 10:00 pm in the following week. It maintained this time slot until 1 January 1972, when it was moved to a double feature movie show starting at 8:00 pm. Sometimes the double feature was cut to one movie to allow other programing such as Alfred Hitchcock Hour or the Variety Club Telethon. It continued as a double feature till 16 September 1972. It then was changed to a single feature until 6 April 1974, when the show ceased.

"Saturday Night at the Movies" - WVTV Channel 18, Milwaukee:
WVTV Channel 18 Milwaukee, Wisconsin aired hosted horror movies from 13 April 1974 till 25 August 1979; using an announcer Bob Beringer, rather than a host. The show presented a double feature of horror movies. The show would commence at 8:00 pm. The opening sequence to the show had a dusty book, with the title "Saturday Night at the Movies", which was on a table top. A candle cast a light onto the book. The stations logo, which was a cube with "WVTV Milwaukee" on one face and "18" on another face was behind it. There was also a rope coiled to the left of the book. There was flashes of lightning which could be seen through a window, and thunder claps could be heard. A tarantula crawled over the book, while the voice announcer Bob Beringer introduced the film title. The spider was named Shirley, named after the zoo keeper's wife Ken Schoenrock, who it was on loan.
