"Count Gregore" - biography (taken from Bradley's Facebook page)"
With more than 50 years as a horror host, he's a living dead legend. Tonight I present Count Gregore, host of Shock Theatre on WKY-TV Channel 4 in Oklahoma City, OK, which premiered May 10, 1958 and lasted two years. Count Gregore has hosted numerous reincarnations of his show over the years; Thriller Theatre, Nightmare, Sleepwalker's Matinee, Count Gregore Presents, Creature Features, Horror Theatre, Scream County Theatre, and most currently made guest appearances on The Mysterious Lab of Dr. Fear. John Ferguson plays the man behind the cape. His passion for the character has never died, he still finds fun in role after all these years. Ferguson kept the role fresh by adapting to current cultural trends such as the hippy trend in the 60's and the disco movement in the 70's. Count Gregore's legacy as the longest running horror host will be hard to ever top.
