"Creature Feature" was a hosted horror movie show with Gregg Dunn as "Gregore", assisted by "Igor"; screening at 10:15pm Saturdays on KMTV, Channel 3, Omaha, Nebraska, USA; between 6 September 1958 to 1961. Like many horror hosts from the 1950's and 1960's, "Gregore" had his fan club. Portrait of "Gregore" by Bradley Beard. Today I present Gregore, host of Creature Feature on KMTV Channel 3 in Omaha, Nebraska which premiered on September 6, 1958 and lasted until 1961. Gregore brought his Shock Theatre to life with a premiere showing of Frankenstein. Each week, he would descend a ladder into his foreboding cellar where he kept his sidekick named Igor locked away for safe keeping; it seems that Igor had a problem keeping his hands to himself. Gregore's mother-in-law was always the butt of his jokes; he kept her disembodied cyclopean head stored in a cabinet. The show was an instant hit with the kids, Gregore's personal appearances and fan club brought him local celebrity status. Gregore's alter ego, Gregg Dunn, eventually left the show to pursue his Hollywood dream. The actor who played "Igor" is not known. There are also no know clips from the show.
