HENRIQUE COUTO - "DR. FREAK"

"Dr. Freak" is a horror host created and acted by Henrique Couto in Dayton, Ohio, USA. Couto had been hosted his own show "Cult Theater" from when he was 12 years old. In 2004 he produced his own 20 minute horror movie - "Dr. Freak Vamp Killa".

Also in 2004, Couto produced and aired "Cult Theater" on Dayton Public Access TV. There was 3 to 4 episodes aired.

The show was in hiatus around 2005, until 2011 when "Cult Theater" was revived, having a new episode aired on Dayton Public Access. No further episodes were released. Additionally in 2011, on 29 October, "Dr. Freak" hosted live, the "Dayton Scare-A-Thon". Couto worked with a number of other horror hosts, appearing on there shows. As well, he was also involved in "Ghastlee and the Horror Host Underground" and "Horror Host Underground Network". "Spooky Stories" is a 2020 television anthology horror audio series where Couto narrates stories featuring tales of horror, ghosts, and death. The series first aired on 17 February 2020, and ran for 12 episodes.

He's a disciple of Dr. Creep. Tonight I present Dr. Freak, host of Cult Theatre, originally seen on Miami Valley Cable Council Media One Channel 23 in Dayton, OH. He later became involved with Ghastlee and the Horror Host Underground on DATV Channel 20 in Dayton, OH with our good friend A. Ghastlee Ghoul. He began Cult Theatre when he was 12 years old making him the World's Youngest Horror Host. He was once a normal youth but pulled from our reality and taken into a dimension between worlds. He was changed forever in an event that only he knows the secret of. Dr. Freak was given the task of following the renowned horror host Dr. Creep, to learn the ways and wiles of the horror host. Dr. Creep took him under his wing and taught him about the world of horror. Dr. Freak is currently on hiatus from horror hosting but currently directs and produces films under the guise of Henrique Couto. In 2023, Henrique Couto as "Dr. Freak", was a nominee in the "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
