From IMDB: "Deadtime Stories: Volume 1" was a 2009 anthology movie consisting of three horror stories presented by George Romero. In "Quota", a pair of young lovers drive to Lovers' Leap, only to be attacked by a mysterious creature. In "Wet", a lonely man finds an empty box on the beach and opens it, with disastrous results. In "Valley of the Shadow", a woman searches for her missing husband in the jungles of South America, only to be in great danger herself.

George Andrew Romero was born on 4 February 1940 in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA and passed away on 16 July 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Romero was a movie maker, writer, and editor. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" series of movies telling the tale of zombie apocalypse, began with the 1968 "Night of the Living Dead". Other films in the series include "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) and "Day of the Dead" (1985). Aside from this series, his works include "The Crazies" (1973), "Martin" (1978), "Knightriders" (1981), "Creepshow" (1982), "Monkey Shines" (1988), "The Dark Half" (1993), and "Bruiser" (2000). Romero also created and executive-produced the television series "Tales from the Darkside" (1983 to 1988). Romero is often described as an influential pioneer of the horror film genre and has been called the "Father of the Zombie Film" and an "icon".

Romero also co-hosted "Chiller Theater, One More Time".
