"Dr. Acula" was a hosted horror movie show with Jay Robert Jennings as "Dr. Acula" presenting movies Saturday nights at midnight on Cable public access Channel 3 Los Angeles, California between January to December, 1989. Dr. Acula would introduce that night's movie and then appear in funny little segments in-between. Due to time constraints, the movie would be a 22 minute version of an old, black and white classic. "Dr. Acula's Halloween 1990" was a horror hosted one hour TV special (one off) on Channel 3 Los Angeles, California in 1990 with Jay Robert Jennings as Dr. Acula. It screened on Saturday at 9:00 pm, 31 October 1990. It was the last time Dr.Acula would be seen on Channel 3. There are no known clips of the show:
