"Doctor Mongo's Midnight Movie" was a hosted horror movie show with "Dr. Montague B. Gourley" (aka Dr. Mongo) on Friday nights at 12:30am from November 1991 until September 1992; moving from Saturdays at midnight from September 1992 until January 1993 on WNAC Fox Channel 64 Providence, Rhode Island. The show then morphed into "Doctor Mongo's Sci-Fi Cinema" on Saturday afternoons from 1:00pm on WNAC Fox Channel 64 Providence, Rhode Island from January to May 1993. The name of the actor playing "Dr. Mongo" is a well kept secret. The cast would swap around playing different through the shows. Characters included The characters included a fem-fatale secret agent named Jane Blonde, Agent double O-No, Vlademir Pouvnienski, the cosmonaut from the former Soviet Union, Dr. Mal Practice, Bruce, the repair man from England, and Felini Bergman, the unseen projectionist.
