FRIDAY NIGHT FRIGHTS

BOB CHESSON - "DEAD EARNEST"
LARRY EARNEST - "DEAD EARNEST"

"Fright Night Frights" was a hosted horror movie show (name of the show is not known) with Bob Chesson as "Dead Earnest" presenting movies on WTCG-TV Channel 17 Atlanta, Georgia in the early 1970's. The shows were tapped at WRET-TV Channel 36 Charlotte, North Carolina, the shipped to WTCG-TV for screening on Friday nights.

It had been suggested that Robert Edward Turner (Ted Turner) was "Dead Earnest". In 2003, Turner's assistant - Suzan Tatum, stated that "Dead Earnest" was played by Bob Chesson and not Turner. This is also supported in 2008 by Chesson's widow Nancy (Chesson) Haynes, who also stated the same.
