Harry Metz (aka Scary Harry has been hosting horror movie shows both on television and live from around 1990. As "The Spooky Spectre" hosted "Fright Night Friday" for a local college television station, then on CUTV, Channel 29, and finally the "Fright Night Theatre" at Smock Haunted Museum.

FRIGHT NIGHT FRIDAY (1990-1995)

"Fright Night Friday was a hosted horror movie show, with Harry Metz as "The Spooky Spectre" who presented 18 hour horror movie marathon for a local college television station that aired each year at Halloween from 1990 until 1995.

"Fright Night Friday was a A hosted horror movie show, with Harry Metz as "The Spooky Spectre" who presented horror movie on Fridays at midnight for CUTV, Channel 29 (California University TV, Pennsylvania) and Helicon Cable Channel 52; from 1995 to 2000. "The Spooky Spectre" was assisted by "Cedric" (played Fred Adams) who was the show's tuxedoed, long-winded, professorial resident film critic. Also assisting was Ricky Dick as "Gravely MacCabre. FRIGHT NIGHT THEATRE (2016-2017)

"Fright Night Theatre" is a hosted horror movie show, with Harry Metz as "The Spooky Sprectre" who presents horror movies at Smock Haunted Museum, Pennsylvania, USA. Even his real name is scary. Today I present the Spooky Spectre, host of Fright Night Friday, which ran September 1995 to Spring of 2000 on CUTV Channel 29 in California, PA. The Spooky Spectre was born in 1990 when "Scary Harry" Metz was first asked to host an 18 hour horror movie marathon which ended up as an annual event for the next five years. His show ran every Friday night at the stroke of midnight. He was joined by the garrulous film critic Cedric, always dressed in his horrific best tuxedo. Horror host Gravely MacCabre re-appeared numerous times on the show over the years as well. The show was presented as a series of ongoing horror skits meant to keep the viewers returning weekly. Scary Harry cites Chilly Billy Cardille as his earliest horror hosting influence. Although the Spooky Spectre can no longer be seen, Scary Harry still continues to create and produce terrorific TV programming.
