"Grim Prairie Tales" was a 1990 USA horror anthology movie. It tells the tale of two travelers, one a well to do young clerk - Farley (Brad Dourif) on the way to a reunion with his wife, the other a scruffy, feral bounty hunter - Morrison (James Earl Jones) meet at sundown on a lonely prairie and agree to swap stories around the campfire. |
James Earl Jones was born on 17 January 1931 un Arkabutla, Mississippi, USA From IMDB: Widely regarded as the one of greatest stage and screen actors both in the USA and internationally. At an early age, he started to take dramatic lessons to calm himself down. It appeared to work as he has since starred in many films over a 40-year period, beginning with the Stanley Kubrick classic "Dr. Strangelove" (1964). He is probably best known for his role as the voice of Darth Vader in the original "Star Wars" franchise. In his course of memorable performances, among others, he has also voiced on the animated series "The Simpsons" (1989) and provided the voice of Mufasa both in "The Lion King" (1994) and "The Lion King" (2019). |
Brad Dourif was born on 18 March 1950 in Huntington, West Virgina, USA.
From Wikipedia: Dourif's other movie roles include "Wise Blood" (1979), "Ragtime" (1981), "Dune" (1984), "Blue Velvet" (1986), "Mississippi Burning" (1988), "The Exorcist III" (1990) and "Alien Resurrection" (1997). He also appeared in many television series, notably "Deadwood", for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
