From their web page: It's Alive is a new television show produced in the same format as the highly successful Pittsburgh favorite Chiller Theater. Movie selection and show content appeal to a wide demographic with core viewers being an 18 to 34, predominantly male audience.
The show has been broadcast every Saturday night at 10:00 PM on WBGN since July 30, 2005. It's Alive is also streamed live and available on demand on the Internet.
In 2009 "The Best of The It's Alive Show Season One DVD was released. It is a collection of most of the hosting segments from The It's Alive Show's first season. Get ready... It's time to wake the dead! Tonight I present Professor Emcee Square, host of the It's Alive Show on WEPA-TV in Pittsburgh, PA, which premiered in July 2005. The Professor is joined by his outrageous cast, The Banana Peel Coffin Jockeys. Among others, the Jockeys are mainly comprised of Pointy the opinionated demon, Fritz the unsuccessful clone, and Stiffy the Dead Clown. The cast perform their own incredible brand of Thrash Metal throughout the show, all very talented and versatile musicians. Before he became a horror host, Professor Emcee Square trained with Mr. Schlock and was coached by Chilly Billy. He calls himself a Professor but only has a GED and a couple of pottery classes under his belt. Belt? Why he'll be happy to give you a belt! The show is a riotous blend of slapstick humor and Heavy Metal hi jinx. The It's Alive Show... where they don't just wake the dead, they ROCK them!
