"Journey Into Darkness " was a 1968 hosted US horror/supernatural anthology television movie; hosted by Patrick McGoohan.

It consisted of two episodes from the UK/USA television series "Journey to the Unknown" (1968) - "The New People" (episode 1.1) and "Paper Dolls" (episode 1.16), as part of four made-for-television movies consisting of twinned episodes along with new segment introduction footage provided by actors Patrick McGoohan, Sebastian Cabot and Joan Crawford serving as hosts, including this one.
The other three telemovies are:

"Journey to Murder" (1971)- "Do Me a Favor and Kill Me" / "The Killing Bottle": Joan Crawford

Patrick McGoohan was born on 19 March 1928 in Astoria, Queens, New York City, New York, USA, and passed away on 13 January 2009 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

McGoohan was a actor, director, screenwriter, and producer of film and television. He was raised in Ireland and England. He began his career in the United Kingdom in the 1950's and rose to prominence for his role as secret agent John Drake in the ITC espionage programme "Danger Man" (1960–1968). He then produced and created "The Prisoner" (1967–1968), a surrealistic television series in which he starred as Number Six, an unnamed British intelligence agent who is abducted and imprisoned in a mysterious coastal village. Beginning in the 1970's, McGoohan maintained a long-running association with "Columbo", writing, directing, producing and appearing in several episodes. His notable film roles include Dr. Paul Ruth in "Scanners" (1981) and King Edward I in "Braveheart" (1995). He was a BAFTA Award and two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner.
