GLORI-ANNE GILBERT - "MORELLA"

Morella Presents Graveyard Theater was a direct to DVD hosted horror movie show during 2007-2008. The show was hosted by Morella played by Glori-Anne Gilbert and assisted by Spud "The Wonder Brain". Glori-Anne Gilbert was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, USA on 12 June 1969. In her younger years, she was an "A" grade student; a model, a beauty pageant contestant; as well as being a youth leader for her church. She started her own bikini lawn mowing service to save money to purchase her first car. In 1996, Gilbert's first feature was in the movie "Evil Ambitions" as Jessup's Intern. Gilbert went on to feature in many adult and B grade movie productions. These include: Vampire Call Girls (1998) Night Vamps (1998) Killer Sex Queens from Cyberspace (1998) Dream Witch (2000) Witchunter (2002) Blood Sisters: Vamps 2 (2002) Bare Wench Project: Uncensored (2003) The Thing Below (2004) The Curse of the Komodo (2004) Countess Dracula's Orgy of Blood (2004) The Witches of Breastwick (2005) Cry of the Winged Serpent (2007) Due to the low budgets of the movies, she would also work behind the scenes in lighting, grip, makeup and production assistant. In 2007 Gilbert became Morella - "Ghost Hostess with the Mostest". Produced by Retromedia Entertainemnt, "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater" was produced for the direct to DVD market. Each show followed the classic hosted horror show formular, with Morella providing an introduction to the show, a little comedy, but usually nothing about the movie to be shown. It was likely that all the studio elements (bookends) were filmed first, then the movies were added later. It is unknown how many shows were shot, but seven DVDs are on the market, each having between 1 - 3 episodes These are: "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: Blood Flood" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: Blood Vision" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: Disciple of Death" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: House of Evil" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: Morella's All-Nite Spooktacular" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: Terror in the Crypt" "Morella Presents Graveyard Theater: The Blood Seekers" At the time of writing, all titles are available from Amazon. A DVD "Mad Monster Rally" was released that also featured some of Morella's titles, along with other titles. Gilbert also works as a nude model and an exotic dancer. She works under a number of stage names, including: Glori Ann Gilbert Glori Anne Gilbert Gloria Lynn Berg Gloria Anne. The following is a clip from one of the shows.
