"Nightmare Theater" was a hosted horror movie show with "Dr. Wolfgang Von Schrecklich" presenting movies on Thursday nights at 11:00pm on WKBT-TV Channel 8 La Crosse, Wisconsin from 21 January 1960 to 13 October 1960. The name of the actor who played "Dr. Wolfgang Von Schrecklich" is not known. The Doctor would rise from his coffin, sharing his disfigured face. Later in the series, the Doctor's face changes, possibly another actor taking over the role. The show was replaced on 20 October 1960 with "Marshall's TV Theater"; with the first movie being "Ten Men From West Point". There are no known clips from the show.
