MARK CARTER - "SAMMY TERRY"

"Nightmare Theater" was a revival series from the 1960's-1980's; "Nightmare Theater" that had been hosted by Bob Carter as "Terry Sammy". The new series of specials was hosted by Mark Carter (son of Bob Carter) also as "Sammy Terry". The show ran as a series of specials on WTTV Channel 4 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA from 31 October 2011 until 29 October 2016. Mark Carter still keeps "Sammy Terry" alive, through live shows, and streaming through the official web site and Facebook pages. DVDs are also available. He's lurking in his father's footsteps. Tonight I present Sammy Terry, host of Nightmare Theatre on WTTV Channel 4.2 Digital Channel in Indianapolis, IN. Sammy Terry, conceived and portrayed by Robert Carter, first crawled out of the crypt in 1962 and terrified Indianapolis audiences for nearly 3 decades. An aging Carter asked his son to keep the character alive and thus, a legacy was born. The new incarnation of Sammy Terry was brought to life... or death by Mark Carter in 2011. As Sammy, Mark's uncanny portrayal is nearly indiscernible from that of his father. Sammy Terry continues to chill audiences with his Halloween TV specials on WTTV and regular public appearances. What greater honor could a son bestow upon his father than continuing his father's horror hosting legacy for future generations? Many pleasant nightmares!
