NIGHTMARE THEATER

RUSS COGLIN - "TERRENCE"
JOHN BARCLAY
- "TERRENCE'S FATHER
- "TERRENCE SIR"

"Nightmare Theater" was a hosted horror movie show with Russ Coglin as "Terrence" who presented movies on Thursday nights on KRON-TV Channel 4, San Francisco, California commencing in 1957 from a studio mummy tomb.

The show would open with a clip from a Victor Jory movie "Shadow" and the dripping, bloody letters NIGHTMARE would appear.

Goglin said during the screening of "The Wolf Man" that his family had once had the same problem as Lon Chaney, "but it hasn't shown up in my generation" - later scratching his chin with a hairy claw.

From 29 January 1958 John Barclay became the host as "Terrence's Father" / " Terrence Sir". It is likely that the show did not continue passed 1958.

Barclay was a Shakespearean actor. His character was a Jekyll and Hyde type, having two faces (having a fright mask on the back of his head).

There are not any known photographs of Goglin as "Terrence" or any clips
from the show.
