Just how much misery can one minor demon inflict upon humanity? Today I present The Baron Mondo Von Doren, host of Nightmare Theatre on WUWF-TV Cox Cable Channel 14 in Pensacola, FL; the show can also be viewed on YouTube, Horror Host Underground Network and coming soon to the Acolyte Cinema channel on Roku. The Baron has caused endless human suffering for centuries; his greatest accomplishments include the introduction of new Coke, the formation of Milli Vanilli, and encouraging the "talents" of the Olsen Twins. Von Doren took control of the airwaves 2001 in order to hatch his current evil scheme; force feeding horrible films upon an unsuspecting viewing public. He's Joined by his Mexican wrestler sidekick El Sapo De Tempesto and his pet werewolf Mittens. The Baron's job is not yet done and he expects you to endure.

In 2018, Mike Ensley - "The Baron Mondo Von Doren" and Chip Chism - "El Sapo De Tempesto", were inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".

The Baron is also one of the members of The Horror Host Underground.

The Horror Host Underground's mission is to support current Horror Hosts; encourage local programming; promote a vital television tradition; grow with new medias; and to inform the public. The Horror Host Underground Network and HorrorHosts.com help fulfill these goals.
