JOHN BURKE - "THE OUTSIDER"

"Nightmare Theatre" was a hosted horror movie show with John Burke as "The Outsider" presenting horror movies on Fridays at 11:00 pm on WSUN-TV, Channel 38, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida from the late 1950's to early 1960's. "The Outsider" is a mysterious ghoulish figure, reading from "The Necronomicon". Walking through a graveyard, carrying a lantern, he would say "I rid with the nightwind and sleep within the catacombs of Pephren-Ka. I know the dark sideof the moon ... I am THE OUTSIDER".
