"Science Fiction Movie" (aka "Science Fiction Movie Party") was a hosted science fiction / horror movie show with Patricia Jones as "Science Fiction Pat", hosting movies on KMTV-TV Channel 3 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA on Saturday nights from 22 September 1962 until the summer of 1964; with Ronnie Bounds and her cat Yatchie taking over from the summer of 1964 until the summer of 1965.

From Captain Flashback (issue 47):
A Midnight Miss from the Coffee House Station KMTV was apparently an enthusiastic patron of the hosted horror movie form. After Gregg Dunn left KMTV in 1961, Program Director Lou Jeffery came up with a customized package of low-budget science fiction films not claimed by other distribution packages. To host the program he hired a University of Nebraska student named Patricia Jones, who had gained some attention playing folk guitar and reciting verse in local coffee houses. The program was simply titled Science Fiction Movie and Jones – apparently no relation to John Jones – was known only as "Pat".

Her most typical costume was a black body suit, a defiantly "Beatnik" look for early 1960s Nebraska. But she also designed additional costumes herself, including a "witchy" outfit that typically inspired her to break out in rhyming couplets. She also composed her own poetry for recitation on the program, which led to passages like: "Robot Monster – definitely not human". Just some surgical steel from some Doctor’s flat...with sealed beam headlights instead of hats. With a mixture of skits, songs and the photographic effects possible in 1962, Science Fiction Movie drew a consistent audience, larger than rival movie broadcasts in Omaha. Jones was profiled in a trade paper under the headline "Midnight Miss Sells Science Fiction". Jones continued inventing new characters into the spring of 1964, but left the program then, most likely after completing her degree in Radio and Television Communications. But Science Fiction Movie, sometimes called Science Fiction Movie Party, continued without interruption, introducing a new hostess in the fall of 1964.

RONNIE BOUNDS & YATCHIE
Ronnie Bounds was a local model and aspiring actor, with dark hair and a similar overall appearance to Pat Jones. And she worked with a sidekick, her Siamese cat "Yatchie".

This version of the show continued through the summer of 1965 and was built around the same sort of humor as it had been with Jones as host. Some Omaha monster fans missed the change completely and one conflated the two versions into something they called "Pat and the Cat". But as with Gregore's Creature Feature, no images from their actual broadcasts survive, only promotional photos.

One intriguing image seems to show a high shot of Pat Jones lying on a pool table and may have originated from a set-up on the show. Ronnie Bounds may have passed an interest in performance down to her granddaughter Lexi Rabe, who played Iron Man's daughter Morgan Stark in "Avengers Endgame" and also appeared in "Godzilla, King of the Monsters".

There are no known clips from the show:
