"Shock" was a hosted horror show with "Dr. Meridian" presenting movies on Friday nights at 9:45pm on WPTA-TV Channel 21 Fort Wayne, Indiana in the late 1950's. The name of the host is not currently known. According to Elena Watson in her book T.V. Horror Movie Hosts (McFarland and Co., 1991) Meridian ". . .liked to work in his laboratory conducting experiments (including) . . . brain transplantation and the preservation of a human head."
