RAY SPRUELL - "DR. SHOCK"
STAN TAYLOR - "IGOR"



"Shock" (also known as "Shock Theater") was a hosted horror movie show, with Ray Spruell as "Dr. Shock", assisted by Stan Taylor as "Igor", presenting movies on Saturday night at 10:30pm, on WRBT Channel 33 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA from about 1972 until about 1979.

Dr. Shock wore a white laboratory coat; and having wild grey hair and a mustache. The set had props including boiling chemicals, dry ice, and a Jacob's ladder.


Spruell acted in movies and television shows from 1975 until 1989, including:
"Mandingo"
"The Toy"
"The Mississippi"
"ABC Weekend Specials"
"North & South: Book 1"
"Uncle Tom's Cabin"
"The Outside Woman"

Spruell was born in Louisiana, USA on 4 November 1924 and sadly passed away on 9 July 1990.
