Jeff Gibson played "Asmodius" on the horror movie shows: "Shock Theatre" on WPTA-TV, and later "Shock Theatre" on WUHQ-TV.
"SHOCK THEATRE": "Shock Theatre" was a hosted horror movie show with Jeff Gibson as "Asmodius" presenting movies on WPTA-TV, Channel 21 Fort Wayne, Indiana on Saturday nights at 11:30pm, in the mid to late 1970's. "Asmodeus" was a young man in his early 20's, - a vampire with blond hair and with an English accent. He wore a white shirt, black pants, a sparkling red jacket and a black cloak. He did the introductions and segues to the films. In 1979, the show moved to WUHQ-TV Channel 41 Battle Creek, Michigan.
"SHOCK THEATRE": "Shock Theatre" was a hosted horror movie show with Jeff Gibson as "Asmodius" presenting movies on WUHQ-TV Channel 41 Battle Creek, Michigan from 1979 till about 1983.
Gibson had been a college student at the local IPFW campus, hosting horror movies to supplement his income. Gibson's day job was as a teacher at the local Catholic high school. He also had played Dracula in a campus production in 1978.

In 2022 and 2023, Jeff Gibson as "Asmodeus", was a nominee in the "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame". |
