"Famous Morris" - biography (taken from Bradley Beard's Facebook page)" Can you guess what garage band was featured at his party? Tonight I present Famous Morris, host of Sinister Cinema with Famous Morris on KCOP-TV Channel 13 in Los Angeles, CA. The show ran from September 1975 to February 1977. Famous Morris was played by Don Sherman. Sherman had a unique take on horror hosting; his character, Famous Morris, was a Hollywood Agent to all of the movie monsters. Comedy skits would feature the different monsters in costume dealing with their Hollywood dilemmas. He had an assistant named Igor and a skeleton secretary named Selma, who he would occasionally dance with at the beginning of the show. Morris also hosted Gazzarri's First Annual Monster-Mania Dance Contest & Party Extravaganza which featured up and coming garage band Van Halen. |
