"Turn out your lights... pull down the shade... draw the drapes...cuddle up in your favorite spot by the telly, for today's tale of terror! NEEYYAAAAAHAHAHAHA!" That laugh... that ghastly laugh! It can mean only one thing.

Today I present horror host Sir Graves Ghastly. His show, simply titled Sir Graves Ghastly, ran from 1967 to 1982 on WJBK TV2 in Detroit, Michigan. The show was a collection of horrific skits and parodies; rich in supporting characters such as Baron Boogaloff, Reel McCoy, Tilly Trollhouse, The Glob, Baruba, Digger Deeper, and the ominous Voice of Doom. The show provided its audience with a weekly dose of humor in a jugular vein. Sadly Sir Graves hung up his cape and had his last laugh on November 6, 1982 when he hosted his final movie Corridors of Blood. He retired under his alias Lawson J. Deming. The memory of Sir Graves Ghastly lives on today... and will live on tomorrow.

In 2011, Lawson Deming - "Sir Graves Ghastly" of "Sir Graves' Big Show", was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".

During the early 1970's, Deming also hosted "Count Alu Card" on WUAB-TV Channel 43 in Cleveland, Ohio. For further information on "Count Alu Card", click on the link below:
