Set in 1983, "Count Crowley: Midnight Monster Hunter" is a graphic novel series; with the first issue being released on 23 October 2019 Jerri Bartman's goal is to be a hard hitting investigative news journalist, but instead Bartman has lost her job, crashed her car and is an alcoholic. She returns to the place that she grew up - a small town where her parents had owned the local television station, and that is now run by her brother, who offers her a job. When Rich Barnes, one of the stations employees, mysteriously disappears, Jerri Bartman replaces him as horror host "Count Crowley" host of the horror movie show, "The Count Crowley Show". But Barnes had a secret. He was covertly one of the last appointed hunter of real monsters; which Bartman is reluctantly forced into, as well as trying to discover what happened to Barnes. There have been three volumes released, with 4 issues per volume, as well as a crossover issue.
