"The Hip Crypt of Doktor Goulfinger" was a hosted horror movie show with Michael Monahan as "Doktor Goulfinger" presenting movies on Berkeley Community Media B-TV Channel 28 Berkeley, California from Halloween (October) 2001 until 2004. "Doktor Goulfinger" is also known as "Doktor Hieronymus Bullwinkle Goulfinger". The set was decorated with photographs of Zacherley, Bob Wilkins, Dr Paul Bearer as well as signed artwork by Vampira, a model of Sammy Terry, a rubber chicken signed by Svengoolie and a skeleton won on the Son of Ghoul show.

The show premiered with Goulfinger hosting "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" on Halloween 2001. Doktor Hieronymus Bullwinkle Goulfinger was portrayed by Michael Monahan. Monahan is a horror host fan who grew up watching Bob Wilkins and Asmodeus. He is a well-respected horror host historian and archivist. He worked as associate producer and chief archivist for the must-see documentary "American Scary". Also an accomplished author, Monahan wrote "American Scary: Conversations with the Kings, Queens, and Jesters of Late-Night Horror TV, a book no self-respecting horror host fan should be without.
