"Dr. Fear's Friday Fright Show" was a hosted horror movie show with Brian Young as "Dr. Ignatius Faust Fear II" presenting movies on Friday nights on KXOK TV-32 Enid, Oklahoma, USA during 2002 staring in March. The Doctor is assisted by a Romanian vampire Trinka, and Mr. Grimly, a ghoulish groundskeeper. "In these years, we've had a wild and strange history." Tonight I present Dr. Fear, host of The Mysterious Lab of Dr. Fear on Public Access PEGASYS in Enid, OK. The show ran from 2002 to 2013 for more than 120 episodes. A student of Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. Ignatius Faust Fear II moved to America to continue his work after Dr. Frankenstein met his demise by the hands of angry peasants. He recruited two assistants, Mr. Grimly, a ghoul assembled from body parts, and Trinka, the vampire maid. His goal is to take over the world but in order to do so, they must endeavor in mad experiments and watch "B" horror movies. The show had gothic overtones and would feature dark, humorous skits. Today's opening quote was taken from correspondence that I received from Dr. Fear and it just somehow seemed appropriate.
The following are some clips from the show:
