THE UNDERTAKER'S THEATER OF DOOM |
"The Undertaker's Theater of Doom" was a hosted horror and science fiction movie show with world wrestling champion Mark Cataway as "The Undertaker" presenting movies from 15 to 18 of March on the Sci-Fi Channel in 1999.
The Sci-Fi Channel's website introduction for this series read: "I AM THE UNDERTAKER and beginning March 15, I will take control of the Sci-Fi Channel, presenting my Theater of Doom. For four nights, I will present the movies that accurately reflect the dark visions that I possess. These films: "Army of Darkness", "Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight", "The Terminator", and "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom",
"The Undertaker" - biography (taken from Bradley's Facebook page)" "For four nights, I will present the movies that accurately reflect the dark visions that I possess." Tonight I present The Undertaker, host of The Undertaker's Theater of Doom on the Sci-Fi Channel which aired for 4 consecutive nights on March 15-18, 1999. The Undertaker is known to most as a seven-time world wrestling champion. His WWE persona is a horror based dark entity who employs supernatural powers to overcome his opponents, which incidentally made him the perfect candidate for a celebrity horror host. The movies he hosted included Army of Darkness, Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight, The Terminator, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The Sci-Fi Channel's website quoted him as saying, " Perhaps after watching these films, you can truly understand the world that I live in... but heed this warning, once you taste the darkness, you may never want to turn away."
