HAYDEN MILLIGAN - "I. ZOMBIE"

"The Witching Hour" was a fortnightly hosted horror movie show airing on Insight public access cable Channel 14 Lexington, Kentucky, USA; hosted by Hayden Milligan as "I. Zombie". Hayden Milligan was severely burned at age two, heavily scarring his face and entire body. After undergoing years of intense therapy, he became an advocate for horror films and eventually a popular radio host and later a television horror host. In October of 2007, he announced on his MySpace site that he had been diagnosed with inoperable cancer and had between three and six months to live. He passed away less than a month later in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2003, Jeremy Newman release a documentary on Milligan - "I. Zombi" which may be viewed on Vimeo. Portrait of "I. He was incredibly inspirational. Tonight I present I. Zombi, host of The Witching Hour which ran on Insight public access cable Channel 14 in Lexington, KY. I. Zombie's birth name was Hayden Milligan. As a child, Hayden was severely burned in a house fire which left his body heavily scarred. Hayden overcame all obstacles with strength and courage, inspiring others who knew him with his passion for life. In 2003, the incredible documentary, I. Zombi, was made about his life and the world of horror hosts. If you've never seen it, you NEED to see it. It's a very personal look into his life that leaves the viewer wishing that they might've had the chance to meet this amazing young man. I watched it last night and was so moved by it that I had to design and honor him today. Hayden passed away in November 2007. He was deeply loved by all those who knew him. In 2013, Hayden Milligan - "I. Zombi" for "The Witching Hour", was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
