"Scorpio" - biography (taken from Bradley Beard's Facebook page)
He rose from his coffin on Saturday afternoons. Tonight I present Scorpio, host of Thing Theatre on WPGH-TV Channel 53 in Pittsburgh, PA. The show began on September 18, 1976, ran on Saturday afternoons, and lasted approximately one year. The actor who played Scorpio remains unknown; only one photo taken from a TV guide add seems to exist. Judging from his appearance, it seems he wore an eye patch and sported a hairstyle that would've made even Axl Rose jealous. The show opened with WPGH investigative newscaster Ed Barrett reporting on Pittsburgh's pollution problem. During the investigation, the news crew discovered a coffin which they took back to the TV studio. Upon opening the coffin, they found it to be empty. After the crew departed the studio, Scorpio would appear from his coffin and announce the afternoon movie.

There are no known clips from the show.
