BORIS KARLOFF THRILLER |
"Boris Karloff Thriller" was a hosted anthology "Gold Key" comic book series with Boris Karloff as host. The comics where firstly released as "Boris Karloff Thriller". Issue 1 released on 1 October 1962 and issue 2 released on 1 January 1963.
From issue 3 (released in April 1963), the title changed to "Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery" and ran until issue 97 released in February 1980.
From Publishers Weekly:
Drawn with effectively crude but zippy panache by an impressive roster of journeymen like Leo Dorfman and Sparky Moore, the stories inside were strictly in the sub-Twilight Zone category, all mysterious coincidences and bumps in the night. A good number of the stories collected here have a sharp moral to them, while many simply try to get under the reader's skin with cursed tombs and crashing thunderstorms.
