"Vintage Video Theater" was a hosted movie show, screening commercial movies, including horror shown on WVTV Channel 18 Milwaukee Wisconsin.


BRUCE RESNICK

"Vintage Video Theater" movies were shown at 10:30pm on a Sunday night, with hosts Bruce Resnick and Mike Schaeffler. The show was first aired on 14 February 1982. From October 1985 two other hosts appeared - John Bierman as "The Count", and Carl Bobke (in drag) as "Al Virus", as a spoof on "Elvira"; screening horror movies. Bierman and Bobke would appear alternative weeks. John Bierman was also one of the writers for "The 1989 TooLoose & Company Halloween Special". Bobke passed away on 29 January 2012 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.
