CINEMA INSOMNIA

ERIK LOBO - "MR. LOBO"

From Cinema Insomnia's web page:
Mr. Lobo's Cinema Insomnia - In the tradition of horror hosts and Creature Features, Mister Lobo appears in brief vignettes in between segments of the late night movie in this nationally syndicated television show that is streamed on Roku channel "OSI 74". Various odd companions and characters have appeared over the shows 18 year tour of duty; like a houseplant named Miss Mittens and a Gorilla Named Kogarella. Also appearing in the breaks are items such as fake commercials, old movie trailers, classic commercials and footage and interviews shot at horror conventions, science fiction conventions, and film festivals in across the country. A new line of Mr. Lobo Cinema Insomnia DVDs are now available at Oldies.com. They're Not Bad Movies-Just Misunderstood!

"Mr. Lobo" - biography (taken from Bradley Beard's Facebook page)"
Open your mind to the possibility that they're not bad movies… just misunderstood. Today's host is a gentleman who has long been shrouded in mystery and is known only by the name of Mr. Lobo. For 13 years, he has been the host of Cinema Insomnia; shown in hundreds of television and cable markets. Mr. Lobo is a traveler and a storyteller; he narrated the very first story ever told, though he may or may not be able to remember when that was. His story is ever changing and seemingly unknowable; it transcends human understanding because it just is... and always shall be. Rumors persist that Mr. Lobo is the keeper of secret knowledge, guardian of the Akashic records of horror and science fiction. Only Mr. Lobo really knows the truth; he might share it with you... but don't count on it. Know only this for certain, once your mind has been influenced by Mr. Lobo, it belongs to him... and he thinks that you belong here tomorrow.

Mr Lobo also hosted the 2009 horror host documentary "Virginia Creepers".
