"Creepy KOFY Movie Time" is a hosted horror movie show with Brian Hall as "Balrok del Cavo", and Mike Nelson as "No Name"; assisted by Strephon Taylor as "Slob on the Spot"; screened on KOFY Channel 20 in San Francisco, California, USA. The show commenced on 31 December 2008 and concluded on 31 December 2014; and presents horror movies, interviews with guests, and introduces bands that perform on the show. Performance artists and comedians are also featured, along with their regular go-go dancers (The Cave Girls) and the house band - "The Deadlies". The show returned for one final episode on 9 April 2022. "A Freak's Guide to Creepy Koffee Movie Time" by B.J. West was published on 9 March 2024, and is available from Amazon. Fueled by a surf rock house band and packed with beauties, burlesque and booze, this weekly movie party was definitely not for the kiddies. Every Saturday night for five years, Balrok and No Name invited you into the cave hidden underneath San Francisco's KOFY TV studio, where they would hit you in the face with a non-stop explosion of local talent, amazing performances, and antics so unhinged you will be shocked they got them on the air. Legend has it that after a late night of partying, No Name ran into Balrok as he was dumping empties. Balrok told him that the cave he lived in was full of movies and beers. Movies had taught Balrok about humans and made him want a human friend. No Name offered to introduce him to all sorts of cool humans and beautiful women. Now they hang out watching movies and drinking and have been best friends ever since. They are joined by Balrok's Cave Girls, Webberly the Fact Rat, and Slob.
