DR. SATAN

? - "DR. SATAN"

"Dr. Satan" was a hosted mystery, horror anthology radio show that aired from 20 October 1936 until 5 January 1937 on WWSW in Pittsburgh, on most Tuesday nights at midnight (or, occasionally, at 12:30am). The name of the host is not known, nor much about the show.

A review of the show from "Pittsburgh Post-Gazette" 15 October 1936:
"New Mystery Feature: We simply must include another of WWSW's fine features in the column today; this is a new feature titled "Dr. Satan," and has to do with several eerie characters, the first one being a cat which has the unpleasant habit of killing people. Brrr! If you can take it, tune in WWSW at 12 midnight. Remember, we warned you!"
