Hey, Couch Potatoes, without further ado... Tonight I present Dr. Shock, host of Dr. Shock's X-Ray Chiller Theatre on WUPW-TV Channel 36 in Toledo, OH. Dr. Shock was given life by Douglas G. Agosti. His show ran from July 1989 to September 1992 until it was unscrupulously force off the air by those infernal infomercials. For 3 1/2 years, Dr. Shock offered his fans the most outrageous brand of horror hosting. After leaving the local airwaves, Agosti and Lance Otto Smith partnered to form After Shock Productions, a film company committed to producing the best in independent horror films. Some of After Shock's releases include Bullet for a Vampire, The Dead and Breakfast, and The Town That Loved Pizza, and The Garden Tool Murders. So, "Turn off the lights, melt in your chairs and absorb the shock waves off the tele".
