JOHN MICHAELS - "KLARA KACKLE"

"Klara Kackle's Kreepy Kauldron" was a hosted horror movie show with John Michaels as "Klara Kackel", presented movies on WHME-TV Channel 46, South Bend, Indiana between 1974 - 1976 on. Klara was John Michaels dressed up as a witch with a high-pitched gruff voice. Michaels welcomed "little dearies" to the show tending a smoking, bubbling cauldron with rubber chickens sticking out of it. Michaels stirred it with a broomstick while occasional rubber bats flew by. The man who played Klara Kackel was John Michaels, the station's Sales Manager. The show was on air for approximately one and a half years before the station went bankrupt and went off the air. In 2026, John Michaels as "Klara Kackle" for "Klara Kackle's Kreepy Kauldron", was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
