"Tarr and Fether's Psycho Cinema" is a hosted horror movie show with Eric Burres as "Professor Fether" and Shawn Kennedy as "Dr. Tarr". The show is a web based series, which began around 2006. Shows may be viewed on Vimeo and their official web page. The main character names' origin would be from "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether" a dark comedy short story by the American author Edgar Allan Poe. First published in Graham's Magazine in November 1845, the story centers on a naïve and unnamed narrator's visit to a mental asylum in the southern provinces of France. He doesn't remember his mother or father. Tonight I present Professor Fether, co-host with Dr. Tarr on Tarr and Fether's Psycho Cinema, a web-based show which can be viewed on The Vortexx or their website. He was raised in the Everglades by Brother Grim and Sister Grim, religious zealots that didn't believe in sparing the rod with young Fether. it's his belief that they were both possessed by demonic entities. He was rarely allowed to be seen in public, it was common for him to be locked away in a shed with minimal rations of bread and water. Fether's earliest recollection of his childhood was that he had not known the sunlight until 5 years of age. Fether's psychosis has been described as sublime and patient. Fether patiently waits for unsuspecting victims over which he asserts his psychotronic influence. Once you have experience his dementia, your reality becomes his... the only reality. Just remember, if you lose your mind watching Tarr and Fether's Psycho Cinema... you'll be in good company.

Dr. Tarr was born in the black swamps on the bayou and claims to have been kept in jars for the first 10 years of his life. He wears 1,000 faces... possibly more, each more insane than the last. Is any one of them real? Or are they just all the machinations of a mad man? He controls what we see, he comprehends that movies are just windows into alternate realities. He and Professor Fether insert their reality into the movies they show as they alter your reality. Do you have the ability to comprehend the underlying meaning of his words? Can you understand his fixation with chicken heads? Tarr and Fether's Psycho Cinema, it's twisted good. In 2020, Shawn Kennedy - "Dr. Tarr" and Eric Burres "Professor Fether" from "Psycho Cinema", were inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame".
