THE ANTIQUARIUM OF SINISTER HAPPENINGS |
| "The Antiquarium of Sinister Happenings" is a weekly, full-cast horror and supernatural fiction anthology podcast distributed by Bloody FM; from 14 July 2023. The show is set in a mysterious antique shop run by "The Antique Dealer" (voiced by Stephen Knowles), with Allison Cossitt as the Narrator from 2023-2024, then Trevor Shand from 2025. Each episode features a peculiar relic or "lot" that arrives at the shop, tied to a dark, twisted story.
STEPHEN KNOWLES Stephen Knowles (frequently credited as Stephen Earl Knowles) is an American actor, voice artist, and award winning ventriloquist. With a career spanning over three decades, he has built a diverse body of work that ranges from live action character roles to high-profile narration, podcast fiction, and interactive video game voiceovers.
Knowles first garnered attention in regional entertainment as a writer, audio animatronic voice talent, and ensemble performer for theatrical productions like the Black Bear Jamboree. He later transitioned into global commercial campaigns, famously providing voice talent for over 50 national advertisements. His versatility across unique character accents and vocal delivery paved the way for expansive work in indie cinema and animation.
On film, Knowles is known for delivering specialized vocal characterizations, including portraying the legendary Charlie Chaplin from beyond the grave in the feature comedy drama Stealing Chaplin (2020). His live action and narration credits also include appearances in The Outtake (2021) as Mr. Virgil, Dream & Play (2022), and as the U.S. President in Mission from Outer Space (2023).
Simultaneously, Knowles has become a prominent fixture in contemporary audio drama podcasts and indie video games. He plays the recurring, mysterious role of The Antique Dealer in the popular horror fiction series The Antiquarium of Sinister Happenings (2023 to 2025) and historical figures like President Taft in Nefarious Festerings (2022 to 2024). His interactive credits span several celebrated indie strategy and RPG titles, voicing multiple characters in Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit (2022) and Oriam in What the Duck (2023).
TREVOR SHAND Trevor Shand is a massive horror and film fanatic and is the dude who stitches "The Boo Crew" Podcast together and makes it sound creepy and rad, or, tries his best too. He does the same thing for radio stations all over North America including KROQ right here in Los Angeles and across Canada for Rogers Broadcasting, as a voice actor, writer and producer. He does not nearly have enough time to play guitar and bass as much as he used to. When he practiced more as a youngster, it got him on stage a heck of a lot and a few appearances on the Tom Green show, and helped him join another one of his favorite bands in the world on Capitol Records for a few years. He is obsessed with haunted attractions, Disneyland, music and old things.
At the top of his list for fave fright flicks would be, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974), "From Dusk Til Dawn" (1996), "House Of The Devil" (2009), "It Follows" (2014), "Mother's Day" (1980), "Trick R Treat" (2007), "Nightmare on Elm Street 3" (1987), "Friday The 13th:The Final Chapter" (1984).
