We are joined by guests who are not only icons from your favorite horror and genre films from in front of and behind the lens, but also artists, actors, musicians, authors and personalities inspired by horror and dark entertainment.
Trevor Shand & Lauren Shand also co-host the podcast series "Bleeders Diegest".
TREVOR SHAND From "The Boo Crew" web page: Trevor is a massive horror and film fanatic and is the dude who stitches the Boo Crew Podcast together and makes it sound creepy and rad, or, tries his best too. He does the same thing for radio stations all over North America including KROQ right here in LA, and across Canada for Rogers Broadcasting-as a voice actor, writer and producer. He doesn’t nearly have enough time to play guitar and bass as much as he used to. When he practiced more as a youngster, it got him on stage a heck of a lot and a few appearances on the Tom Green show, and helped him join another one of his favorite bands in the world on Capitol Records for a few years. He is obsessed with haunted attractions, Disneyland, music and old things.
At the top of his list for fave fright flicks would be, Texas Chainsaw Massacre ('74) // From Dusk Til Dawn ('96) // House Of The Devil ('09) // It Follows (2014) // Mother's Day (1980) // Trick R Treat (2007) // Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (1987) // Friday The 13th:The Final Chapter (1984).
LAUREN SHAND From "The Boo Crew" web page: Hi my name is Lauren. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I've loved horror and Halloween for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory is watching 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' when I was about 7. It terrified the hell out of me! I mean what's more horrific then a burned guy killing people in their sleep? Still to this day I have Krueger issues.
Some spooky facts about me are: Our house is decorated for Halloween all year long. We have a magic mirror and secret passage way. I have a weakness for Halloween decorations. I love pumpkin spice everything! And one of my kids was born on Halloween... how cool is that?
I love hanging with my crew and watching horror movies as well as checking out haunts and anything horror related around the city.
My favorite horror movies are as followed and in no specific order: Shaun of the Dead, Trick r Treat, It follows, The Bad seed, Rosemary's Baby, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare on Elm Street (so scary) and Halloween. I was assistant producer for the syndicated radio show 'Loveline' and i'm a producer of The Boo Crew podcast.
LEONE D'ANTONIO From "The Boo Crew" web page: Leone is a caffeine-free, lover of all cool and boring technology and science-y stuff. With a passion for the cinema, specially horror movies, he lives for playing guitar, watercolor & oil painting, photography, hiking, and useless movie trivia. Born and raised in Los Angeles with a wonderjunkie personality, he's motivated and driven in the research lab. Did i mention he LOVES guitars? (Bonus points if you feed him before midnight!)
Favorite Horror Movies: The Orphanage (Spanish), Let the Right One In (Swedish), High Tension (French), The Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Exorcist, The Thing (John Carpenter), Suspiria (Italian), Trick ‘r Treat, The Innkeepers, House of the Devil, The Conjuring, Insidious, Halloween (1978), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Session 9 and many more!
