"The Dr. Mor B.S. Show" was a hosted horror movie show with Mark Newman as "Dr. Mor B.S." presenting movies on Monday and Friday nights at 10:00pm on DCTV Channel 5 Defiance, Ohio from 1998 until about 2004 or so. From the "Horror Host Underground" Website profile: "The gregarious Doc and his warped and wacky sidekicks, Wort and Mr. Death, stir up a weekly blend of comedy, horror and interviews that is a sure cure for the TV doldrums". Mark Newman as "Dr. Mor B.S." also aired on Friday nights at 8:00pm on Access Fort Wayne, Channel 57 Fort Wayne, Indiana from 1999.
"The Dr. Mor B.S. Animated Show" was an animated series revolving around the adventures of horror host Dr. Mor B.S.; this time voiced by Douglas Newman. From their Youtube page "Two shows were made in all and a third that was written and mostly animated but never completed. These were created frame by frame using Corel Draw and put together with power point. very very primitive". Two episodes were released in 2004/2005.

Where's this host gone? Tonight I present Dr. Mor B.S., host of The Dr. Mor B.S. Show on DCTV Channel 5 in Defiance, OH and on cable access Channel 57 in Fort Wayne, IN. The show premiered in 1998 and the doctor's character is played by Mark Newman. He's joined on his show by a warped and wacky cast of characters; Lumpy, Danny O'Night, Johnny T Bonez, and Wart. In the opening credits of American Scary, possibly the best horror host documentary ever produced, a tombstone had been inscribed with his name which piqued my curiosity to learn more about this host. In the documentary, there's one short interview with him during The Ghoul segment, nothing more. I also discovered that The Dr. Mor B.S. Show has 2 animated episodes which can be found on YouTube. Unfortunately, there's no more info on Dr. Mor B.S.
From E-gor's Chamber of TV Horror Hosts:
"Over the years Dr. Mor B.S. has shown such films as 'Night of the Living Dead', 'The Brain that wouldn't Die', 'Forbidden Planet', 'Kronos', and 'Wasp Woman'.
"Mark Newman is also a film maker who has shot many films and in production with his latest feature, Attack of the Giant Cicada, which is to be released this fall by his Peek-A-Boo Productions company and Voided Industries".
"Dr. Mor B.S. has hosted the Lions Club Halloween Parade between 2002-2004 in Defiance, Ohio". ![]()
