"The Crypt Keeper" - biography (taken from his Facebook page)"
Hello boils and ghouls, I hope you had a very Scary Christmas and a Happy New Fear. Hee he he he! Today I present The Crypt Keeper, the host of the HBO classic TV series Tales From the Crypt; brilliantly voiced by the versatile John Kassir. The performance duties fell upon Van Snowden who imbued him with incredible vigor and life, so much so that one almost forgets they are watching a puppet. The series ran 7 seasons from 1989 to 1996 on the premium cable channel HBO. The character was taken from the 1950's EC comic series Tales from the Crypt and the stories were taken from EC comic series such as Haunt of Fear, Shock Suspenstories, Vault of Horror, and of course Tales from the Crypt. Individual episodes featured some of the biggest A-list Hollywood stars. This series is great fun. And about tomorrow, be here or beware!
